Provincetown Poetry & Literary Arts Festival Schedule
A $5.00 entrance fee will be charged for all events except the workshops, and the panel discussion. The reception is free for participating poets & performers, $10.00 for all others. Individual event tickets will be available at the door during the Festival. A $40.00 all inclusive event pass will also be available for purchase at all venues.

Writing Poems About Fathers: A Poetry Workshop for Sons and Daughters of All Ages.
A poetry workshop facilitated by Barry Hellman who will read from his father poems
and those of other poets, as well as provide guidelines for creating a poem.
Participants will write their own poems, and, if they wish to, share them with the group.

Poetry Workshop led by Eric Edwards. What is “Nature Poetry” anyway? What kind of decisions are made when someone
decides to write this way, or discovers they are being described as writing this way?
What are the cultural assumptions in the writer and the culture? How big is the “business” of the genre?
Examples and Discussion for writers and readers. Attendees may bring
One Short example that illustrates their thinking, or puzzles them.
The spiritual assumptions of “Nature Poetry” in particular will be brought up.
